Snow Much Fun!

Kansas City had a record snowfall on Christmas this year. After 3 days of what seemed like continuous snowfall, we had about a foot at our house. And did we ever make the most of it!

Our neighbor plowed all the snow in the cul de sac into a big pile to start the sledding luge down the ditch. A little sculpting was needed though to get the right path set. I'm so glad CoCo & Poppa were here to help out!

Brett was more than happy to help carve out the luge run with the sled

Snow angels were made

Brett & Poppa did some backyard sledding which entailed a lot of backyard pulling back up the hill

and a few silly joke tricks that went like this - Brett rolling onto his side until he fell out of the sled into the snow and then saying, "Poppa, you dumped me out!" Then Poppa saying, "oh no Brett! You better get back on and I'll pull you some more." Going a little farther and repeating. Brett giggling harder & harder each time.

We had such a fun time with Poppa & CoCo and hated to see them go. In fact, Brett told them they couldn't leave and even locked the doors. Then they tried to drive up the hill of our street and couldn't make it for all the snow. When they had to come back, Brett said, "See I told you you couldn't leave!" Thinks he is so smart!

Snow, please stick around a little bit longer so we can play with you - we have a new sled we need to break in!
